The Summer Sweater is an oversized, drop shoulder sweater that can be worn year round. Due to its very oversized shape, each size can fit a range of chest sizes. It’s worked from the top down, working short rows at the shoulders and then increases to shape the front neckline, and front and back underarm shaping. The body is then connected and worked in the round, finishing with 1x1 ribbing trim. The sleeves are picked up and knit, worked in the round and finished with 1x1 ribbing trim. The neck trim is picked up and worked in the round with 1x1 ribbing. All trim is finished with two setup rows and bound off using the Italian method.
