Teddy Vest

The Teddy vest is worked from the top down working short rows at the shoulders and then increases to shape the front v-neck and front and back underarm shaping. The front and back are connected and the button holes are worked within the body. The trim is picked up and knit, worked in the round (for the body and arms) and then folded over and finished using a crochet hook.

Difficulty: Intermediate 

Gauge: 13 sts x 18 rows = 4 x 4 inches [10 x 10 cm] in Stockinette on US 8 [5mm] needles (for yarn A).

Needles: US 8 [5mm] needles in 16” [41 cm] and 24”-32” [61-81 cm. And an E-G crochet hook [3.5-4.5 mm]. You don’t need to know how to crochet!

Materials: Yarn A: Approx. 150 (150, 150, 150)(200, 200, 250)(250, 250, 250) 300 grams of Wookfolk Flette (50g =  131yds [120 m)]) and Yarn B: 100 (100, 100, 200)(200, 200, 200) (200, 200, 200) 200 grams of Woolfolk Tov (100g =  173yds [158 m].
